The taste and aroma of the Andes

The technique used by Peruvian farmers to produce coffee at such low temperatures on the slopes of the Andes is now considered unique, especially because these coffee beans acquire a very special taste.

What distinguishes the country’s coffee industry from other coffee producing countries in the world is its commitment to quality.

Most Peruvian coffees are grown in small micro-lots where each coffee bean is picked and processed by hand. In addition, coffee farmers have little to no access to chemical pesticides and fertilizers, so the majority of Peruvian beans are organically grown.

The country produces 13% of the world's coffee, and the figure is rising. In itself, this detail would not be so special if it were not for the uniqueness that allows coffee to be produced even in cold regions.
