Many coffee lovers have an automatic coffee machine at home; it is easy to use and convenient for a quick coffee. But even with automatic coffee machines, there are many parameters that need to be adjusted to feel the difference between industrial and artisan roasted coffee.
Play around with the grind. The finer the grind, the more extraction you get from the coffee. You can also, if possible, adjust the temperature or coffee quantity.
In any case, it is important not to stick to the factory settings, as these are always a medium setting and will therefore only give you mediocre coffee.
